Product Description

Command the decks and write your legend across the high seas in the Handmade Men’s Brown Leather Pirate Costume Set. Tailored from genuine cowhide leather, this complete buccaneer ensemble replaces thin polyester party costumes with rugged artisan craftsmanship designed to weather faire campaigns, maritime festivals, and theatrical stage battles.

The centerpiece of this outfit is a tailored sleeveless brown leather waistcoat featuring front shank button fastenings and a distinctive split panel peplum skirt that drapes naturally across the hips. Layered beneath is a period accurate off white gathered poet shirt with a notched collar and gathered balloon cuffs. The lower half features authentic pirate slops (wide knickerbocker breeches) cut with roomy thighs that tuck neatly into knee high boots. Secured with dual overlapping leather belts boasting antiqued brass buckles, this battle tested set strikes the ultimate balance of historic authenticity and rogue charisma.

⚠️ Important Inclusions Notice: This complete outfit package includes the Leather Waistcoat Vest, Leather Slops Trousers, Off White Poet Premium Linen/Cotton Blend Undershirt, and Dual Leather Buckled Belts only. The knee high boots, red head bandana, and prop weapons shown in photography are for styling display and are not included.

Key Features & Artisan Craftsmanship

  • 100% Genuine Cowhide Leather: Crafted from durable, soft tempered 1.1-1.3 mm leather that develops a handsome, weathered patina with every voyage.

  • Tailored Buccaneer Waistcoat: Cut with an open low neckline, classic metal dome shank buttons, and a rear split tail vent for effortless sword draw and sitting.

  • Authentic Slops Trousers: Designed with historically accurate high volume leg gathering, finished with tailored calf cuffs that slip smoothly inside sea boots.

  • Period Gathered Poet Shirt: Includes a breathable, lightweight long sleeve cotton/linen tunic shirt with buttoned cuffs and a relaxed open chest placket.

  • Dual Combat Belt Rigging: Outfitted with an extra wide leather waist sash belt and an angled drop sword belt featuring heavy antique brass roller buckles.

  • Full Custom Tailoring: Each suit is individually hand cut and assembled to your exact anatomical proportions for an immaculate fit.

Perfect For

  • Renaissance Faires & Pirate Festivals: Walk the faire grounds in museum grade artisan leather.

  • LARP & Roleplay Conventions: Flexible, breathable construction built for active melee combat and seafaring character builds.

  • Theatrical Stage, Screen & Film: Authentic textures, heavy drape, and non reflective matte finish that look incredible under 4K lenses and stage lights.

  • High End Halloween & Masquerades: A heirloom quality investment piece that can be worn, layered, and restyled for years.

Care Instructions

  • Spot clean leather surfaces with a soft, damp cloth; do not submerge in water, machine wash, or dry clean.

  • The inner fabric shirt may be hand washed separately in cold water and hung to dry.

  • Condition the leather periodically with a neutral leather balm or oil to prevent saltwater dryness and maintain softness.

  • Store on wide, sturdy wooden hangers in a climate controlled, dry wardrobe away from dampness and direct sunlight.
